Advices after pregnancy

First tooth

First tooth

The first teeth to erupt are usually the lower central incisors, which appear at around 6–8 months of age. The upper central incisors typically follow at 8–9 months, then the upper lateral incisors at 9–10 months, and finally the lower lateral incisors at 10–12 months.

During teething, babies are often irritable, experience itchy or sore gums, and tend to put everything into their mouths. Choose toys that can be easily washed and sterilized, and use a teething gel to help soothe the gums. If your child develops a fever or if tooth eruption is significantly delayed, consult your pediatrician.
